Welcome!

Disability Thinking Weekday is an email newsletter for disabled people and others who are interested in disability issues, ideas, and culture.

30 years ago, it felt like a big event when there was anything published on disability issues. Now it’s a challenge to narrow them down to only three pieces to profile per day. Whatever else happens with internet culture and social media, I’ll always be grateful for what they have done to enrich disability culture, journalism, and activism.

Free subscriptions include a newsletter each weekday, with links and brief commentary on three disability-related, and a shared video each Friday. Paid subscriptions also include a weekly wrap-up of all the previous month’s shared links, plus an opportunity to recommend one disability-related article per month that I’ll share in one of the regular weekday emails.

I hope you get enough out of Disability Thinking Weekday to look forward to its arrival in your inbox!
